Marina is one of the heart of Singapore City, huge and there are a lot of building nearby, no wonder this place one of the most favorite to visit. Not only a high building, also you can see a lot of interesting place like Marina Bay Sand, Garden By The Bay, or Merlion Statue.

But none of them are cheap. Yes not cheap for a favorite things. Since you will waste your money for hobby, I will tell you one place, and that place can be a second option for you a Singaporean or even for a traveler. Can be another hobby if you read this.

Long time ago, I have a Hobby to build up my computer at home. A lot of things that I’ve do for my hobby. After pay day, I will spend a lot of money for my hobby. And then I start to think, there is no end with the technology, even I bought the newest one, next year or maybe the next 6 month. They will release a new technology.

Well, after that hard time, I found a new Hobby, and that hobby is Eat. My dream is simple, I want to eat all kind of food from different country and put all my though at a “online-diary”. Tiong Bahru Bakery, One of famous bakery store in town. They have 2 branches, and Raflles City are Tiong Bahru Bakery (Raffles City) Center. The best Bakery? First of all, you can visit Tiong Bahru Bakery (Raffles City) at 8am, buy some food here, and drink for your exclusive cool dinner. You can try their Must-Try menu, Kouign Amann. Kouign Amann at Tiong Bahru Bakery is one of people favorite. Since their Foods still fresh from “Hot-Oven’ you gonna love their sweet-crispy and one bite is all it takes to fall unabashedly in love with their crispy Kouign Amann.

Not only the Kouign Amann, you also have a lot option to enjoy your breakfast like Rainbow Rice Bowl. The rice look so healty for your body. And also a vegetarian food option and one of favourite dishes there. They use brown and wild rice, eggs that are organic from New Zealand made into your very delicious poached eggs,S picy pineapple kimchi, purple potato crisps, mixed sprouts and salsa verde.

Another Snack store need to visit, Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory is a specialist in cookies. Most of their cookies usually using a cheese. Yup almost their food made from cheese, even for a Sundae Ice Cream with a cheese as a topiing. For S$8.50 you can enjoy their Cow Cow Sundae expensive for 1 Sundae but not a bad idea to try.

They also have a milk to buy, and Their signature Tokyo Milk Cheese item is the Salt & Camembert Cookies (s$12.80 for box of 10 pcs, S$24 for 20 pcs). Their quality are guaranteed and there is no difference in every purchase, and maybe the taste of their “food” getting better and better.

But something special you need to try. Previously 52 Sandwich Shack have known as Koki Tamagokayi, Somehow 52 Sandwich Shack changed their name to 52 Sandwich Shack.

Their signature dish is one of a must-try heavy snack here. 52 Grilled Cheese for S$6.90 was a (perhaps) MOST favorite here. With 3 kind of cheese (Mozzarella, Cheddar, and Provolone) the Grilled cheese will more fragrant, Nice enough to make you hungry.

Anyway, When you visit Raffles City, you will see one place called comnam vietnamese street eats.

Comnam Vietnamese Street Eats perhaps have all Vietnamese Cuisine, for the price not quite expensive if you get a Lunch set A or B with price S$10.90 and Dinner Set A or B with price S$15.90 (Sale Food). So in the weekend at least wait for 15 – 30 minutes to wait.

Located on the ground floor of Raffles City and just around 3-4 minutes from the MRT, Salt Tapas and Bar is commonly mistaken for being Spanish cuisine due to the term ‘tapas’. Well for a second the place look like a Spanish Restaurant, but however, an Australian concept and the only commonality to Spanish cuisine is the concept of serving in small plates for sharing. The cuisine is closer to a Moroccan, Mediterranean.

For the food are extremely good and worth to try.  And for your information there is one fantastic lunch set with a fantastic price. But when you get the food. You will agree for the great deal. For the Fantastic Lunch set, at least you need to spend around S$100.

In Raffles Ciry, you can find one of the great restaurant for a snack and heavy meal with Japanese Style. And Tempura Tenten is one of the best Japanese food at Raffles City.

Unatendon or Unagi with Tendon is the Signature Dish in Tenten. Unagi with mixed tempura in a bowl of fluffy Japanese rice. The tempura felt less greasy and less salty than many other tendon places in Singapore. A great value for money, worthy for the food. They also have a Ramen like Yuzu Chashu Ramen & Tonkatsu Chashu Ramen for around S$15 which is really nice and not a bad idea for their Ramen.
