Peranakan? What is the exact mean of Peranakan? Peranakan, Peranakan Chinese or simply "Peranakans", and "Baba-Nyonya" in Malaysia are terms used by Chinese immigrant descendants who since the late fifteenth and sixteenth centuries have domiciled in the archipelago of Nusantara (now Indonesia), including Malaya Britain (now West Malaysia and Singapore). In some areas of the archipelago other names are also used to refer to Peranakan Chinese, such as the "Chinese Citadel" specifically Tionghoa-Manchu in Tangerang, Indonesia and "Kiau-Seng" in the colonial era of the Dutch East Indies.

In Singapore especially the local Singaporean surely is a Peranakan too, even from Indonesia or Malaysia, or Maybe from near of us long time ago who move from their real country to Singaporean.
