Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe (Westgate)

Nunsaram means "Snowman" in Korean, precisely named after a shop selling ice-cold desserts. The sleepy snowman makes a funny motif too. In addition to Snowman, the Nunsaram store has an open concept, no roof at Orchard Central and has taken over the space where "The Spanish Donor - The Original Churros" used to be. For those who are disappointed with the closure of the franchise, rest assured that other decent dessert stores have grown to satisfy your sugar cravings. What do you think? Is that a good idea to bring your kids here? Or if you still an unmarry boy or girl, then you can come with your cousin or nephew, make them happy and love the place.

  • The shaved ice is pretty fine

  • I liked that the matcha flavour was quite distinct (there was a second layer of matcha powder hidden beneath

  • The Bingsu was topped with sweet red bean paste

  • Fried seaweed rolls with vermicelli

  • Recommend to share this with a partner or two along with their latest Acai Fruit Bingsoo ($14.90) or Hotteok Set ($6.90) to complete the meal

  • Extremely pleased with the new menu

  • The normal seaweed roll is wrap w meat & deep fried

  • For this is wrap with vermicelli 😋

  • The sushi roll is all vegetables such as carrot

  • Ordered a original tobokki at $7.90 with add $2 for 2pcs of fried dumpling

  • The cashier said is large portion

  • Chewy tobokki and fish cake with spicy sauce

  • Crispy dumpling with glass noodle filling

  • The portion here is definitely abundant for a meal or great for sharing among 2 3 pax

  • The addition of cheese is definitely an enhancement

  • The dumplings and seaweed rolls are deep fried to an ideal crisp perfection on their golden brown batters

  • 💖 The original gimbap roll comes with assorted fillings of chicken ham

  • The main highlight (though not so for me) is the stir fried rice cakes

  • I would highly recommend for sharing unless you are a huge fan of rice cakes & mochi in general

  • To date still one of the best Bingsu places in Singapore and also in my top 3 list

  • Personally I would choose the latter as the green tea flavour here was a tad mild for my liking

  • The main highlight afterall is the shaved milk ice that comes with a fluffy

  • ❄️ The green tea bingsu is served with red bean

  • A scoop of green tea ice cream and dusted generously with green tea powder and almond flakes for an added crunch

  • I still enjoyed it overall as a dessert on its own without acknowledging the fact that this was a green tea flavoured dessert 🤭

  • The roasted soybean powder in the Injeolmi bingsu came with pleasant and lingering roasted flavour and fragrance

  • Dusted with almond flakes and drizzled with chocolate sauce

  • Pancake made with glutinous rice flour

  • Flavour is spiced up with the addition of cinnamon which (fortunately for me) is subtle and mild here

  • Might get a tad dry after awhile but with the addition of chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

  • The acai berry smoothie that’s made with a blend of acai berry

  • Refreshing beverage that could have been better if the flavours were more distinct

  • Stir fried rice cakes with 2 fried dumpling

  • The large cost $13.90 i recommend buying the large one as the price difference is not that large hehe
