  • Som Tam's Thai Garlic Seafood Fried Rice is one of their mainstays on their menu

  • The savory seafood is cooked to perfection

  • Considering that the same squid used in the Black Tom Yum was overcooked

  • The squid in the fried rice is bouncy and a little snappy when bitten into

  • When paired up with the lime juice

  • The seafood really came to life with the extra zinginess of the acidic citrus

  • Somtam spices things up a bit with a little western influence

  • New menu featuring Tom Yum "Black" (stewed and simmered for 3h before adding the squid ink and a variety of seafood tantalizingly tasty but squid was slightly overcooked)

  • A little more work needs to be done on the flavours of Deep Fried Tomyum Soft Shell Crab as the tomyum seasoning was too subtle

  • Nonetheless I did enjoy this overall with its delicately crisp batter thought it was a pretty good one to start the feast
