  • I ordered 1 1 takeaway as previously it was always dine in

  • The journey home took half an hour but the pasta was not even soggy

  • The soft shell crab is fried to perfection (it's not CRABBY at all) but I can't really taste much of the salted egg

  • The salmon was well done with a delicious

  • The creamy miso sauce wasn’t too jelat and was quite enjoyable

  • It even came with crispy bacon bits on top

  • Only gripe was that the carbonara was way too jelat

  • The overall ambience was good for catch up and the sitting was space out and not too squeeze

  • The salmon egg bens was really good and simple

  • Truffle mushroom pizza and umami pasta 🥰 with the manuka coffee

  • The salmon miso pasta was alright and nothing very exceptional

  • Great value with the iced latte I got

  • Straight cut jewel sweet potato fries sprinkled with Japanese nori

  • Sweet potatoes were really sweet and even though it’s delivered and not that crispy

  • Am told it’s ok and the iced tea preparations are fairly innovative

  • While the crab meat aglio olio is slightly spicy which helps to neutralise the overall taste

  • Bring your own cup and there is some discount 💋

  • I don’t get the chance to eat such classy food very often but this was such a happy and well spent meal

  • The bacon is coated with maple syrup and you can request for your eggs to be cooked in 3 ways (i

  • Lil' did I expect my jaws to fall wider when this pretty garden y looking bowl was presented before me

  • Light lemony aroma wafted with each cut & bite

  • While the accompaniments were highly addictive (come on

  • Whipped cream and anything else sweet are highlights of any pancake/waffle meal)

  • There’re bits of crunchy granola clusters to go with the fluffy pancakes

  • Share this with your girlfriends

  • FAVE BRUNCH PLACE 🥵 The eggs for the Academics Breakfast was well seasoned with truffle that did not overpower it

  • The maple syrup coated bacon was a good mix of sweet and savoury & the bread

  • The smoked salmon dish had so much salmon and the hash brown underneath was cooked to a delicate crisp

  • Really enjoyed the food here and with its all day breakfast menu

  • Everything on their menu is a hit to me

  • 8/10) was delicious and cream was not too overpowering which was awesome

  • I’m not a big fan of truffle but this was rather nice

  • The pizza was a little to thin and was difficult to hold with my hand without breaking

  • The spicy crab meat pasta ($24++) is exactly what it claims to be chunks of sautéed crab meat are tossed in a sweet & spicy sauce and topped with pine nuts

  • A twisted pasta that added dimension with its quirky shape and texture

  • Exclusive to the Scotts Square outlet is this linguine pasta doused in salted egg sauce and served with a whole soft shell crab ($23++)

  • Crab pasta was good for sharing

  • Just that the price tag is a little huge for a burger and some sweet potato fries

  • Crabmeat had some shells in them and the sauce was full of pepper & tasted like cheap sauce

  • Could be more generous with the sautéed mushrooms and ham

  • Very original pasta flavours with just the right amount of spice and intensity

  • Generous amounts of cheese with chili crab sauce atop a crispy thin crust our tummies were so happy

  • Got this with beyond 1 for 1 and it was such a good deal

  • Umami flavors were strong for this tasty dish sprinkled with shio konbu bonito flakes for that Japanese fusion touch

  • I loved the sweet shrimp XO sauce that went amazingly well when mixed with the onsen egg yolk in all its golden glory

  • Thin crust was really thin crispy and tasty

  • The ingredients on it was quite okay

  • Texture of the pasta was rather interesting

  • The burger was huge beef patty was thick

  • Thin crust pizza with a sizeable amount of ingredients

  • Soft Shell Crab Salted Egg Wafu Pasta ($23) was creamy without being too heavy on the palate

  • The Umami Pasta ($21) was topped by generous amounts of bonito flakes but was a tad too spicy for our liking

  • Especially with Beyond’s 1 for 1 deal

  • Thought that the sausage was too dry and the bread was too hard

  • Ordered the egg ben ($22) and egg white scramble with chicken breast ($24)

  • The poached eggs were disappointing as they were a little overcooked

  • Mango salsa with fried fish

  • & the curly fries were crispy & thin

  • My friend’s french toast came with an espresso maple syrup which was love

  • I was just trying my luck when i asked if they had decaf and the waiter was like “yeah

  • I also felt super extra & classy bc it was served in a wine glass

  • They informed me that a dish was not available

  • I changed the curly fries to sweet potato fries and realised it was one of the best decision i ever made

  • Ordered the Academics Breakfast ($25) and was extremely pleased

  • Loved their signature Okinawa coffee ($6) which consisted of Cappucino with brown cane sugar too

  • Smoked salmon served with beetroot potato rosti

  • It was a bit on the bland side for me but it was packed with nutrients

  • Really yummy and soft shell crab was crispy and flavorful

  • Price is reasonable though was expecting the food to be really good given the feedback on this dish

  • Fluffy pancakes and cappucino in a cone are some of the popular choices here

  • Personally not a fan of thin crust pizza but have to say that the amount of crabmeat in the pizza was very generous

  • Service is hard to get by cos service staff is always far away

  • Whom which I spent the entire summer break hunting for food discounts with and The Coffee Academics (Scotts Square) was probably in the Top 2 Worst Food Decisions ever

  • To break it down mine was some poached egg and ikura above a potato beetroot rosti

  • It was surrounded by some raw watercress which was basically a very not tasty prison

  • The entire dish was extremely one dimensional and not filling

  • Simple and brimming with good vibes

  • The atmosphere sung "coffee" as we were surrounded by everything you will associated with it

  • $7.50 (iced) this is a lovely mix of Java and Gula Jawa

  • The combination is just right and simply refreshing

  • My current fav food is avo on toast

  • The portion here is ok but I feel there could be more avocado

  • Perfect when paired with the coffee here

  • We were first astonished with its small portion but that wasn’t the issue

  • The chicken meat inside was dry and batter was rather oily

  • Put them together with some sauce and we couldn’t taste anything distinct about it
